13.1 Row markers
Row markers draw a sowing line on the field surface. Draco row marker marks the central line. Many
tractors have a viewfinder which makes following the drive line easier.
Note! Tractor drivers are often inclined to sit leaning slightly towards the right side. Make sure that
you sit upright when following the sowing line.
Row markers are adjusted so that the marking line is drawn exactly to the distance of working width
from the center of the machine. Marking plates locations and angles can be adjusted with screws 1,
picture 70. When the required adjustment is found, tighten the screws carefully.

Row marker speed is factory adjusted but because of different tractor hydraulics, it may have to be
readjusted. Adjustment is made by rotating the screw under the cover on drawbar (picture 71). First
loosen the nut and make the adjustment. After that lock adjustment with the nut. It is recommended
to do adjustment after the oil has reached its normal operating temperature. Marker speed should
be so fast that it won’t slow down your seeding work, but not too fast so that it causes unnecessary
stress to the structures.
