Turn the cheese upward to the heater
(distance 2cm). Switch on: Set switch
to 1 or connect cable.
Position the cheese holder centrally un-
der the heater by means of the knurled
screws.
Tips
A grilled crust forms on the edges after 4-5 raclettes each. Cut off this fi ne crust with
the serrated side of the raclette knife and serve with a raclette (in French it’s called
“religieuse” (“religious raclette”) because it tastes so heavenly!).
Freeze remaining cheese or use it for gratins, sandwiches or as cheese slices. Large
left-over pieces keep for up to 8 weeks in the refrigerator, small ones for 2–3 weeks.
By the way: The plate can be placed on the heating arm for preheating.
