The Front Panel Controls Menu  

 
The Front Panel Controls Menu allows the default operations behaviour of all buttons and rotary encoders 
of the SAM-Q-SDI to be changed for a specific user, application or environment. 
 

 
Please note that any changes made here affect operational modes only, the behaviours of the front panel 
controls remain unaffected when accessing the SAM-Q-SDI Menus. 
 
The default operational behaviours can be seen on page 10. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
To modify any of the default functions, simply select the control you wish to modify and use the large rotary 
encoder to select your preferred function. 
 
 
F1 Function 
The default function assigne

d to the F1 function button is ‘Previous Mode’. 

 

 
When the  SAM-Q-SDI  has  been  configured  to  provide more than one  Operational Mode  (see  Operator 
Permissions  page  40),  the  Previous  Mode  function  allows  Users  of  the  SAM-Q-SDI  to  switch  to  the 
previously selected Operational Mode using the F1 button.
