Maximum Displacement Cylinder Orifice Check Valve
1. Remove the seal lock nut with a 3/4 inch hex wrench.
Remove the maximum displacement cylinder orifice
check valve from the motor housing with a 1/4 inch
end wrench. Remove the O-ring. The check ball in
the valve must be free.
2. Reinstall the check valve and torque to 15 Nm
(11 lbf•ft). Install a new O-ring. Install the seal lock
nut with the seal toward the motor housing.
Hold the check valve from turning while torquing
the seal lock nut to 34 Nm (25 lbf•ft).
3. If no orifice check valve is installed, the housing plug
may be removed with a 9/16 inch hex wrench. Always
install a new O-ring. Reinstall the plug and torque to
20 Nm (15 lbf•ft).
