Post-record time
The post-record time is set to stop recording after the scheduled time or the event. For
example, if an alarm triggered recording ends at 11:00, and the post-record time is set
to 5 seconds, the camera records until 11:00:05. The post-record time can be
configured as 5 s, 10 s, 30 s, 1 min, 2 min, 5 min, or 10 min.
Recording stream
You can select main stream or substream to record.
To set up a recording schedule:
1. From the menu toolbar, click Configuration > Camera Configuration > Storage >
Record Schedule .
2. Select the Enable check box to enable recording.
Note: To disable recording, deselect the option.
3. Set up the recording schedule.
4. Click the day you want to schedule recordings. The Schedule pop-up window
appears. Select the desired recording type and enter the start and end times for
recording.
Recording types Description
Continuous This is continuous recording.
Motion Video is recorded when the motion is detected.
Alarm Video is recorded when the alarm is triggered via the external alarm
input channels. Besides configuring the recording schedule, you must
set the Alarm Type and select the check box of Trigger Channel in
the Linkage Method of Alarm Input Settings interface. For detailed
