Parameter Description
Triggering Status This option is only available when the Triggered by Alarm Input option
under “Day/Night Switch” has been selected.
Select whether Day or Night mode starts when an alarm is triggered.
Sensitivity This option is only available when the Triggered by Alarm Input option
under “Day/Night Switch” has been selected.
It defines the sensitivity of the switch between day and night.
Set it between 0 and 7.
Delay Time This option is only available when the Triggered by Alarm Input option
under “Day/Night Switch” has been selected.
This is the time duration that the alarm output remains in effect after an
alarm occurs. Maximum time is 120 s. Default is 5 s.
Smart Supplement Light When enabled, it can avoid over exposure of the image. Default is
OFF.
IR Light Select ON/OFF to enable/disable IR.
ON : The IR LEDs are ON when the camera changes to night mode.
Off : The IR LEDs are OFF when the camera changes to night mode
Note : The IR LEDs are always OFF in day mode.
6. Backlight Settings
This option is only available when the Day or Night tab under “Scheduled D/N Switch” or “Custom
24-h Settings” has been selected.
BLC Area This option is not available when WDR is enabled.
If you focus on an object against strong backlight, the object will be too
dark to be seen clearly. BLC compensates for the background light so
that the image in the foreground is clear. Select OFF, Up, Down, Left,
Right, Center, or Custom.
If Custom is selected, you must draw an area on the live view image
where you want BLC to apply.
When WDR is enabled, BLC cannot be configured.
WDR This option is not available when BLC Area is enabled.
When enabled, this feature (wide dynamic range) allows you to see
details of objects in shadows or details of objects in bright areas of
frames that have high contrast between light and dark areas.
Wide Dynamic Level This option is only available when WDR is enabled.
7. White Balance
White Balance White balance (WB) sets the relative parameters for the color white in
the camera. Based on this information, the camera will continue to
display all colors correctly even when the color temperature of the
scene changes such as from daylight to fluorescent lighting. Select one
of the options:
MWB: Manually adjust the color temperature to meet your
requirements.
AWB1: Adjust within a range of 2500 to 9500K, for environments
where the lighting is always stable.
Locked WB: Locks the WB to the current environment color
temperature.
Fluorescent Lamp: For use where there are fluorescent lamps
installed near the camera.
