Unfold the feet, unlock the stand using the handle and place the camera in the
desired position.

Attaching the wrist strap
You can attach the wrist strap to the camera for optimal ease of use and safety.
1.
Insert the thin end of the wrist strap through the eye (4, figure 4).
2.
Make a loop from the part of the wrist strap which has been inserted through
the eye.
3.
Thread the other end of the wrist strap through the loop.
10 Taking a photograph
10.1
Zooming in or out
This camera has a 4x digital zoom. The digital zoom increases the size of the image
by digitally processing it.
Press the control button to the right to zoom in. Press the control button to the left to
zoom out.
Whilst zooming in or out, the increase in size is displayed in the zoom bar on the left-
hand side of the LCD screen.
Note:
Use the LCD screen when using the digital zoom. Images are not
displayed in the viewfinder when using the digital zoom.
Note:
The quality of the image is reduced when using the digital zoom.
Note:
The digital zoom does not work when recording video clips.

Using the macro function (close-up photographs)
The Trust 760 PowerC@m CCD has a macro function which can be used to take
photographs at a minimum distance of 18 cm. You can use the ‘Portrait’ option to
take close-up photographs.
Selecting the macro mode:
Turn the lens ring to the correct position (see Table 8 for an explanation).
