No connection with Downhole Measuring System (Sensors)
VSD is ready
Power to VSD as well as to guage unit is
supplied
Power up the VSD, check that there is an indication on the surface guage unit.

protocol with the surface telemetry unit is
selected in the controller
In the UMKA07 controller menu, go to the
«Commissioning» life cycle , select
the
«Gauge» submenu, then «Gauge select» parameter must be set according
to the type of downhole Measuring System (sensors) used
Check that the required speed and
communication address with the surface
telemetry unit are properly selected in the
controller
In the UMKA07 controller menu go to the
«Commissioning» life cycle, select
the
«Gauge» submenu, then «DME protocol» value. Parameter must be set
according to the type of Downhole Measuring System (sensors) used. Also, the
network address must be set for exchange with Downhole Measuring System
(sensors) used
Wires from the surface telemetry unit
are connected:
RS485:
RS485 A + connected to TB4:1;
RS485 B- connected to TB4:2
RS232:
TXD connected to TB4:4;
RXD connected to TB4:5;
GND Connected to TB4:3
Wires from the surface telemetry unit are
connected:
RS485:
RS485 A + connected to TB4:1;
RS485 B- connected to TB4:2
RS232:
TXD connected to TB4:4;
RXD connected to TB4:5;
GND Connected to TB4:3
