Check if the drum is correctly assembled and
has no malfunction or does not turn by hand. Do
not connect the sieve if you notice that the drum
is locked, observe the label and the direction of
rotation.
Observe the surrounding area, should there be any
f lammable product, remove it to a safe distance.
Ensure that the material to be sifted, classified is in
conditions of being sifted.
Make sure that there is no interference to the drum
with the machine stand before turning the machine
on.
Check that the support legs of the rotary sieve are
well supported and the machine is firm and f lat and
the stability support is locked in the correct position.
Test the power switch and see if it is operating
normally.
When connecting, observe the rotation direction, it
must be anti-clockwise when looking at the motor in
the machine’s movement position.
Be sure to use the safety equipment before using the
machine.
Following the recommendations in this manual, the
TRAPP rotary sieve offers effective and safe work.
Notes:
Never mount or remove a part from the
rotatory sieve while the drum is running,
only do so when the engine is off, the plug is
not connected to the mains, and the drum is
stopped.
Even when the engine is not running, wait
until the drum stops completely before
handling the rotatory sieve.
Do not insert your hands or any part of the
body into the drum and do not change the
position of the drum with the sieve attached.
Do not sieve any material not indicated
in this manual.
Notas:
Never force the drum to sift the material
desired, this may lead to damage to
the equipment and may decrease the
productivity of the machine.
Forcing or using the rotary sieve
incorrectly leads to warranty loss.
In order to start working with the rotary sieve, look
at Figure A to assemble the transport handle and
proceed as follows:
Position the rotating sieve on a f lat f loor.
Mount the transport handle (1) to the indicated
location (2).
Use the knob (3) to screw the handle on the machine.
After assembling both handles, release the position
lock (4) and leave it in the standby position, as
shown in Figure B-2.
After releasing the two locks, as shown in Figure
B-1, support one of the feet on the support bar in
front of the wheel and slowly suspend the drum
setting (Figure C-1).
The damper is responsible for elevating the drum set
to the working position.
With the machine in the working position, loosen
the handle that holds the stability support, on the
side of the machine, and remove the handle as
shown in Figure C-2. After that, the operator must
move downwards the stability support until it
touches the ground and uses the knob in the hole
below, thus securing it.
Once in position, engage the locking position
on the drum assembly to decrease the damper
pressure and to facilitate the locking and unlocking
position, manually aid to raise or lower the drum
to match the locking holes with the machine off, as
shown in Figure B-1.
Position the stability to stand as shown on page 34 to
avoid tilting the sieve and position the machine on a
f lat, dry and even f loor.
