The material to be sifted and sorted should be slowly
added into the drum, note the direction the material
will be dispersed from the drum, and if the motor
rotation will not decrease.
If the material you want to sift and sort is being
correctly dumped and the motor rotation does not
decrease upon adding the material into the drum,
feed the drum normally so as to achieve the desired
result.
The amount of material added inside the drum may
vary depending on the moisture and density of the
material, avoid overloading the drum with excess
material, this may damage the equipment and lead
to warranty loss, therefore it is not recommended to
exceed 10 kg of material inside the drum.
Seek to load the drum with the same amount of
material being dumped, thus avoiding the overload
of the equipment.
Instructions for timing belt and
tensioner
Prior to replacing or tensioning the belt, make sure
that the machine is disconnected from the mains.
After switching the machine off, remove the bolts and
locking washers (1) and motor protection (2). Then
remove the bolts from the power switch (3) and the
main protection (4) as shown in Figure E. To remove
and replace the timing belt, loosen the tensioner
(5), and pulley f lange (6). Then remove the belt (7),
as shown in Figure F. To install the belt proceed in
the reverse direction the disassembly sequence. It is
necessary to disconnect the connection wires of the
motor and the on/off switch connected in the voltage
selector in order to perform this alteration.
If necessary, only tighten the belts if the belt teeth
are not damaged, move the tensioner (5) in the
direction of the belt until you notice the belt is
tensioned. Afterwards, assemble the disassembled
items to start the rotating sieve. The tension of this
belt should vary by up to 8 mm. If it is too tight or
too little, it may affect the operation of the machine
and cause damage to the equipment. In order to
correctly connect, connect firstly the motor wires
following the numbering indicated on the wire and
on the selector, the two smaller wires of the power
switch are connected to the external connector of
the selector and the green wire of the power switch
is the grounding wire, which must be connected to
the motor.
Note:
The model of the belt is T101420 with 15 mm wide,
made of polyurethane.
