To assemble the pulleys, follow the reverse
procedure to dismantle the pulleys. In order to do
it, the drum needs to be secured by a chock, aligned
and centralized. Adjust the position of the pulleys on
the oblong of the holes (7). Check Figures I and J for
this procedure.
When assembling the pulleys, due to variation in
circumference in the diameter of the drum, check
the pulley clearance on the drum on the outlet side
of the material by performing the final tightening
(belt side).
To obtain the required clearance of 2 mm, 3 pulleys
must be positioned as f lat and centered and give the
final tightening.
Afterwards, rotate the drum and, at the point where
the drum is as close as possible to the 4
th
pulley,
adjust the pulley with the 2 mm gap and then tighten
the pulley.
On the material input side, simply position the
bottom pulleys against the drum without it touching
the pulley holder, then, perform the final tightening.
The same procedure must be done on the pulleys of
the upper part, which possesses the compensating
circumference spring.
When assembling, observe the side of the level
of the pulleys, when completing the assembly,
manually turn the drum to make sure it is not locked.
Unlock the support lock and lower the drum to
check that it does not detach from the guide, if
necessary adjust the tightening of the pulleys, then
carry out the work normally.

Replace or change the material
sorting screen
Before replacing or replacing the drum screen, make
sure that the machine is disconnected from the
mains.
With the machine off, remove the bolts (1), the nut
(2), the plain washer (3) and the lock washer (4).
Afterwards, remove the inner f laps (5) and observe
the position for the subsequently assembling them.
After removing these items, remove the screen (6)
from the drum to replace if damaged, as shown in
Figure K.
Note:
Beware of the screen pressure when removing it from
the drum, wear safety goggles. Use appropriate gloves in
order to avoid getting cut on the edges of the screen.
To increase the size of the sifted material, in this case,
reassemble items 1, 2, 3, and 4 and work without the
screen. Greater weight material of sifted material will
be attained when working only with the drum hole.
If you want to replace the screen, remove it, mount
the desired screen and follow the reverse procedure
to remove the screen. When assembling, ensure that
all parts are properly placed and the bolts correctly
tightened.
