- Push pedal A (fig.14) to tilt the column forward.
- Unlock the horizontal and vertical arm by pulling the
locking button (A, fig.16a) toward you.
- Place the (de)mountinghead (D, fig.16b) on the rim by
pushing the vertical arm down and moving the horizontal
arm. When the head rests on the side of the rim, push
the locking button (A, fig.16a) to lock both arms. Check if
the head is removed about 1mm from the upper side of
the rim and 1-2mm from the outside of the rim, to
prevent scratching the rim .
- Lubricate the rim and bead with tire grease.
- With the lever inserted between the bead and the front section of the mounting head, move
the tire bead over the mounting head
(fig. 17).
CAUTION! In order to avoid damaging the inner tube if there is one, it is advisable to carry out this
operation with the valve about 10 cm right of the mounting head. (Fig. 18)
WARNING! Chains, bracelets, loose clothing or foreign objects in the vicinity of the moving parts
can represent a danger for the operator.
- With the lever (fig. 17) held in this position, rotate the turntable in a clockwise direction by
pressing pedal D (fig.17) down until the tire is completely separated from the wheel rim.
- Remove the inner tube if there is one.
- Repeat the operation for the other bead (fig.19).
