Installing a memory module
The system board includes 24 DIMM slots (six channels per processor, each channel contains two memory
slots) for the installation of DDR4 2400/ 2666 MHz memory.
To install a memory module:
1.
Pull the locking latches of the DIMM slot outward.
2.
Place the memory module into the socket so the notch and obstruction are aligned.
3.
Press the edge connector of the memory module into the slot.
Press down firmly so that the locking latches of th
e DIMM slot are levered upward to secure the
memory module.
4.
Repeat for the additional memory modules.
5.
Install an air baffle (on page 31).
6.
Install the access panel (on page 29).
