Removing a memory module
The system board includes 24 DIMM slots (six channels per processor, each channel contains two memory
slots) for the installation of DDR4 2400/ 2666 MHz memory.
To remove a memory module:
1.
Power off the server, and then detach all of the power cords from the power supplies.
2.
Remove the access panel (on page 29).
3.
Remove an air baffle (on page 30).
4.
Push the locking latches of the DIMM slot downward and outward to eject the memory module.
5.
Remove the memory module.
6.
Repeat the process for the additional memory modules.
