If a normal code is displayed during the DTC check but the problem still occurs, check the circuits for each
problem symptom in the order given in the table below and proceed to the relevant troubleshooting page.
NOTICE:
When replacing
ABS ECU,
sensor or etc., turn the
IG
switch
OFF.

Only when 1 . to 4. are all normal and the problem is still
occuning, replace the ASS ECU.

4. Check the ASS actuator with a checker or TOYOTA BR-48
hand-held tesler.
If abnonnal, check the hydrau6c clrcuft for leakage

occurring, replace the ABS ECU.
1 . Check the DTC reconfirming that the normal code is Dl-276
output.

hancHield tester.
If abnormal, check the hydraulic circuit for leakage
