NOTICE

■

To prevent damage to or incorrect operation of the tachograph

●

Do not attempt to repair or modify the tachograph.

●

Only use genuine charts designed for your model of tachograph. Using

non-genuine charts may cause the tachograph to malfunction. Also, the

recorded information may not be accurate.

●

Do not bend, damage, or allow the chart(s) to get wet. Otherwise, informa-

tion may not be recorded on the chart(s) correctly.

●

Do not apply liquids to the tachograph or cartridge.

●

Do not touch the recording stylus inside the tachograph.

●

Do not put your hand or other things inside the tachograph.

●

Do not leave the cartridge in direct sunlight or other high temperature

areas.

●

Do not leave the front cover open. Before turning the engine switch off,

make sure that the front cover is closed.

●

Do not apply excessive force to the cartridge when loading it or open the

front cover manually.

●

Be careful not to hit the cartridge when it is not fully inserted while loading

it.

●

When using a 7-day chart set, make sure to set it so recording is started

on the top chart. Otherwise, a chart may get caught and cause a malfunc-

tion.

●

When using a 7-day chart set, do not cut the tape around the charts. Also,

do not use the charts of a 7-day chart set individually.

●

When installing a 7-day chart set, if the current time is between 22:40 and

24:00, make sure to place the first chart above the cutoff knife. Otherwise,

the chart may become caught and cause a malfunction of the clock. Also,

the information may not be recorded on the charts correctly.

●

Make sure to use the correct lock ring for the cartridge.

●

Do not install the lock ring to the cartridge without any charts installed, and

when installing the lock ring, make sure to securely lock it. Otherwise, the

lock ring may come off inside the tachograph and cause a malfunction.

●

Clean the tachograph using a soft dry cloth. Do not use organic sub-

stances, such as thinner or benzine.
