Do not stretch the expander beyond its rated range, because it is possible to squeeze its piston out of the servo housing. Do not
wear loose clothing or jewelry during work. Pin up long hair.
Apply the personal protection equipment.
The hydraulic pump must be placed on a level,
fl
at, hard, and stable surface.
Surface, which is supporting the expander, should be stable and resilient.
It is absolutely prohibited to adjust safety valve.
Keep the hydraulic system components away from sources of heat and
fi
re, as this may cause damage to the device or
deterioration in its performance.
Do not place any heavy objects on the hose nor allow to bent it. Do not allow the hose to come in contact with sharp or hot
objects.
When setting up the hydraulic system you should take into account the space required for the hose, to avoid damage to the hose
or coplings.
Before starting your operation, make sure that no element of the hydraulic system is damaged in any way. If any of the elements
needs a repair, it should be passed to an authorized repairer for this purpose.
After unplugging of the cables always put on plugs, to protect the hydraulic system from dust and other contaminants. If the load
is not centrally located, pump carefully. If it is necessary to use a very large force for pumping, you should stop your work and set
up the device in such a way, that the load is placed more centrally. This will reduce the pumping e
ff
ort.
Keep the hydraulic system components away from sources of heat and
fi
re, as this may cause damage to the device or
deterioration in its performance.
Never leave assembled system without supervision of the person, who is authorized to its operation. Children and people, who
are untrained to operate the hydraulic system, are not allowed to be present near the place of operation or storage of the hydraulic
system components.
Observe the general safety rules during your work.
Be prescient, do not work when you are tired or under the in
fl
uence of drugs.
The device has a lifetime of 4 years from the date of its
fi
rst use. After this period, the device should be inspected at the
manufacturer’s authorized service center for further safety of use.
USER’S MANUAL
Installation and use of the hydraulic system
Connect the pump hose with the servo connector by screwing the connector nut of the thread. Make sure that the nut is properly
tightened (II).
Close the drain valve by turning it in clockwise (III).
Produce pressure in the pump by moving its lever up and down. After several moves, the servo will start to work.
To eliminate the pressure in the pump, turn the valve counterclockwise.
At time of opening of the drain valve, the servo will automatically return to its rest position.
Do not disassemble the hydraulic system, which is under pressure.
The pump can be used in any position, both vertically and horizontally. When the pump is in vertical position, the ending with hose
must always be directed downwards (IV).
Oil addition (V)
The pump is
fi
lled with oil and ready for operation. If you notice a performance drop of the pump, you should check the oil level;
and add oil when necessary. Disconnect the pump from the hydraulic system, set in a horizontal position, unscrew the oil plug
and add oil. You should not
fi
ll the pump tank completely. The oil level must be at least 1 cm below the oil inlet. After oil addition
screw the
fi
ller plug. The device has been factory-
fi
lled with hydraulic oil. Use only oil of the proper type. It is recommended to use
hydraulic oil with the symbol L-HL-46.
Deaeration of the pump
To deaerate the hydraulic system of pump, set pump in vertical position, with its hose directed downwards. Open the drain valve.
Unscrew the oil inlet plug. Do a few full movements of the pump lever. Screw the oil inlet plug.
MAINTENANCE
Elements of the hydraulic system must be protected against moisture. You should not expose them for adverse weather conditions,
especially for precipitation. System components must be kept clean and free of any oils or greases. All moving parts should be
oiled. You should periodically check the condition of the elements for presence of rust.
Before each use, check the technical condition of elements of hydraulic system.
If you notice any damage, the operation of
hydraulic system is strictly prohibited.
In this case, you should pass the device to an authorised service center.
Do not adjust the safety valves, because they have been adjusted at the factory to ensure the nominal performance and maximum
security of device.
