Installing the Allegro MX-1 Jukebox

2. Secure the Allegro MX-1 by using the key to lock its case. 

Activating the Allegro MX-1 Screen

When you power up a jukebox for the first time, it automatically goes into 

night mode

: the JCB 

and other internal components of the jukebox are running, but the touchscreen, audio system 
and lights for the jukebox are disabled. Bring the jukebox out of night mode and activate its 
screen before setting up the jukebox.

1. Press the 

POWER

 button on the wired remote for the jukebox.

Note: 

Buttons may be slightly recessed. 

When you press this button, the touchscreen, lights and audio system for the jukebox are 
activated. You can now use the touchscreen to activate the jukebox and configure its settings 
using the system software. 

2. Follow the procedure in “

Activating the Jukebox

” to configure and initiate communications 

with the TouchTunes server and activate the jukebox.
