Routing Cables to the Service Tray Components
The Allegro MX-1 is designed with two cable access ports on the service tray that allow you to
route outside cables (such as for telecommunications and speakers for zones 2 and 3) to internal
jukebox components. The cable access ports also act as wire-strain relief devices, providing slack
for cables inside the jukebox and covering the opening to the interior to keep dust out.

Note: Only route cables in to and out of the jukebox through the provided cable channel
opening. Do not route cables through any other openings in the jukebox, such as air vents.
Otherwise, the jukebox may overheat and shut itself down.
To prepare for cable routing in the jukebox:
1. Identify the cable access ports on the Allegro MX-1’s service tray.
2. Loosen the wing nuts for wire-strain relief so you can move the sliding tab.
3. Adjust the sliding tab so you can bring cables into the jukebox through the cable channel
opening.
Once the cable channel is open and the wire-strain relief sliders are loose, you are ready to make
connections to the jukebox.
