Alarm #1: table feeder too high
When the feeding plate has reached the upper limit the capacitive sensor was not activa-
ted. Check capacitive sensor operation and its setting.
Alarm #2: insert correct sheet length
(210 - 1000)
Input from the home menu (Fig.6.1) paper length included in the range.
It’s demanded to the operator to input exact paper length in the home menu before running
each different job. This is crucial to the correct working of the machine.
Allarme #3: machine in standby mode
Machine is in standby mode, machine runs only in manual mode not in automatic mode.
Press on standby button in the home menu to release standby.
Alarm #4: temperature probe upper rol-
ler failure
Possible fault on the upper roller temperature sensor . Error occur when the temperature
does not increase from cold rollers or temperature is too high. Check temperature sensor
integrity, heating relay faulty, upper heating element relays fault. To reset the error messa-
ge and avoid damages to the machine turn the heating off. This error stops the machine
from running in automatic mode. Temperature sensor fault is not related to the operation of
the heating element, in case the sensor is faulty the roller will not reach target temperature
and the machine will never reach READY state.
Alarm #5: temperature probe lower rol-
ler failure
Possible fault on the lower roller temperature sensor . Error occur when the temperature
does not increase from cold rollers or temperature is too high. Check temperature sensor
integrity, heating relay faulty, lower heating element relays fault. To reset the error message
and avoid damages to the machine turn the heating off. This error stops the machine from
running in automatic mode. Temperature sensor fault is not related to the operation of the
heating element, in case the sensor is faulty the roller will not reach target temperature and
the machine will never reach READY state.
Alarm #6: machine safety circuit open
Safety alarms activates when the front safety cover is open or when the emergency button
is pressed. It may be caused also by the main power contactor or faulty power fuses.
Alarm #7: sheet blocked on feeder,
check
One sheet has reached the overlapping point but a new sheet is not coming from the fee-
der (sensor S1 is free). Multiple causes: no more paper in the feeder, feeder jam, faults in
the feeding group belt/motor/suction fan, feeding plate is too low (reset capacitive sensor).
In this case check the feeder and reset the error. If the problem is solved set the feeder
again in auto mode. When another sheet is ready before the lamination rolls start the
machine by pressing twice on the start button or follow the first set up manual operation.
Alarm #8: feeder NOT in auto
Feeder is not in auto mode. Press the auto button (2) to clear this error. This is a silent
alarm, it does not stop the machine from running.
Alarm #9: load a correct program
Could occur after a plc value reset, load program Tosingraf Demo 1.
Alarm #10: sheet presence, proceed in
manual first
The machine is stopped while attempting to run it in automatic mode but a sheet is on the
sensor S1 that should be free. Do not act on sensor S1 and S2 but enter in the manual
mode menu and keep the forward button pressed until the sheet will stop in the first
suitable position for running in automatic mode again. In case forward button is pressed
again, the error message will light up again when attempting an automatic restart. In this
case repeat the operation in the manual mode menu keeping the forward button pressed
until the sheet will stop in the last useful position. If once again it was not possible to stop
the sheet in proper position repeat the complete first sheet feeding operation in manual
mode. If the error is reset before performing the manual mode operations the machine will
not be able to stop the sheet in right position after keeping pressed the forward button.
Alarm #11: sheet presence in feeder,
check first
The machine is stopped while attempting to run it in automatic mode but a sheet is on the
sensor S1 that should be free. Do not act on sensor S1 and S2. In this case do not reset
the error and try to remove the sheet from the feeder side. If this operation will clear S2
sensor than the machine will reset automatically. If the sheet is already inside the lamina-
tion rolls this error will come together with alarm #10. In this case proceed as per solution
to alarm #10.
