5. See Figure 9 and verify that your printer has printed correct information for your
configuration:
v A solid line should appear as the last line of the test pattern.
If any characters that appear in Figure 9 are missing from the test pattern you
print, or if the solid line is missing, go to Table 1 on page 14.
Test Pattern Notes:
1. The serial number that prints will be the actual serial number of your printer.
Note: For fiscal printers, the serial number that is on a label on the back of the
printer is the serial number of the fiscal interface assembly. The fiscal
serial number is not the same as the serial number that is printed here.
2. The microcode levels will be the actual levels of your printer's microcode.
3. The serial interface will be specified as USB regardless of which interface is
used to attach the printer to the system unit. This line describes the
communication between the fiscal base and the printer.
4. These lines break at different points for the test pattern printed in the DI station.
5. This section contains printer usage statistics that you can use for problem
determination.
6. The line across the bottom should be solid with no blank spaces.
