Chapter 1 General Specifications

Outline

The typeFR, a Unified controller nv-pack series supports virtualization function.

The virtualization function starts the guest OS on the virtual environment

emulated by the function of the host OS. In the typeFR, the PLC runs on the

host OS. In addition, Windows is supported as guest OS.

The virtualization function occupies one CPU core of typeFR controller.

By nV-Tool, you can set which of the PLC and Windows occupies the PCI device

of the typeFR.
