Appendix A Maintenance

6F8C1859

Insert a recovery DVD and boot from it

Insert the Windows Recovery DVD and press the power button of the typeFR.

It is

booted from the DVD and is displayed as "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD...".

When the key is entered there, the restore process is executed.

After restoration is completed, take out the recovery DVD

When restoration is completed, "Remove DVD-ROM and press any key to shutdown" is

displayed. After removing the DVD, it shuts down automatically by key input.

Connect the PLC disk

Connect the removed PLC disk again to the drive bay 0.

Important

After completing this flow, refer to A.1 and confirm that the PLC disk is higher in boot priority.

If PLC does not start up and Windows starts up, try again from the beginning.

Important

If you start Windows only without starting PLC, typeFR controller hardware clock
may be changed by Windows.
Refer to A.5 and check that the typeFR controller hardware clock is normal.
