Bypass Copying
Bypass copying is convenient in the following instances:
• When the size of the paper you require is not installed in the digital multi function’s paper cassettes.
• When you want to use a special type of paper such as OHP film.
* The optional stack feed bypass is required for any of the above.
1 Place the original(s) on the original feed tray or on
the glass.

2 Select desired copy mode.
4 Place sheets of copy paper on the stack feed bypass.
The following message appears:

Align the slide of the stack feed bypass to the width
of the paper to be loaded.
• For type of paper that can be used in bypass copying:
Page 1-7
Select paper size
• Press the or key to select the paper size of
the stack feed bypass and press the key.
• Extend the paper holder when the size of paper is large.
Tip
• The or key are used to select the paper size
of the stack feed bypass. When the key is pressed, the
paper size is set and then copying is started.
