Batch Separation
Document capture solutions have become essential to meet the everyday document imaging
needs of businesses in the finance, insurance, healthcare, transportation, education and many
other markets.
This is the motivation for the addition of the batch separation feature that allows for the creation
of multiple files from a scanned batch. Using automated batch separation, e-BRIDGE Re-Rite
can handle large volumes of documents faster and more efficiently with a choice of 2 different
methods for complete control.
The division of the batch into multiple documents can be controlled in two ways.
Split by Page
Using a pre-set number of pages, you can specify that you want a document created every
'N'
pages. For example if you split by 5 pages, it will convert a batch of 30 pages into 6 five page
documents. A split by 3 pages would create 10 documents each with 3 pages.
Splitting by Page:
1. Stacks all documents on top of each other.
2. Take the stack to MFP.
3. Select the page splitting template.
4. You can either:
Enter the page length parameter at the MFP, or
The page length is pre-determined by the e-BRIDGE Re-Rite configuration.

2. Select the
OCR Settings

Split Type
field, select

.
4. In the
