If an error occurred during the Backup Process, please try to run again the installer’s
Setup.exe
. If the Backup error still persists, manually perform the following actions:
1. Run the
BackupReRite.exe
found in the installer’s Utilities folder.
2. Run the
UpgradeTool.exe
also found in the installer’s Utilities folder.
3. Uninstall the old version of e-BRIDGE Re-Rite (including Patches).
4. Run the e-BRIDGE Re-Rite v8.1.0 installer’s
Setup.exe
.
Environment Changes
1. There will be a shortcut in Start > All Programs > e-BRIDGE containing the following:
a. Re-Rite (link to the Web Control Panel)
b. Re-Rite Help
c. Re-Rite Setup Guide
2. There are now two e-BRIDGE Re-Rite specific services :
a. e-BRIDGE Re-Rite (for the Re-Rite service)
b. e-BRIDGE Re-Rite UI (for the Web Control Panel)
3. The selected WebPort during installation is being saved in a registry key named
WebPort
under the registry path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\e-BRIDGE
Re-Rite\Parameters.
