Some functions are not available in specific modes, but this is not a malfunction. Read the
description in this manual for details on correct operations.
Some functions are prohibited on some discs.
Cannot play back JPEG files
from a disc.
Make sure that the disc was recorded in the JPEG/ISO
format.
Cannot play MP3 files from a
disc.
Make sure that the disc was recorded in the ISO format.
Make sure that the bitrate of the MP3 files is between 8 and
320 kbps.
Make sure that the sample rate of the MP3 files is 32kHz,
44.1kHz or 48kHz.
Cannot find a JPEG file.
Make sure that the selected group (folder) does not contain
more than 9,999 files for DVD and 999 files for CD.
Make sure that the file extension is .jpg, .JPG, .jpeg or
.JPEG.
Cannot find an MP3 file.
Make sure that the selected folder does not contain more
than 9,999 files for DVD and 999 files for CD.
Make sure that the file extension is .mp3 or .MP3.
Cannot upgrade SW.
When you upgrade the system with USB flash drive, you
should make a new folder named UPG_ALL, and copy the
upgrade file into this folder.
When you upgrade the system by network, make sure the
player is connected to the Internet when upgrading the SW.
Sometimes the options of the
Setup menu cannot be
selected.
When playing a DVD disc or Blu-ray Disc™, press the STOP
button once. The player enters stop resume mode,
meanwhile you cannot change some settings in the Setup
menu such as a language sub-item, audio, subtitle etc. If you
wish to change a setting, press the STOP button twice. The
player enters full stop mode, and then you can make the
change.
