Chapter 6: Basic features
Setting the On Timer
You can set the On Timer to automatically turn on the
TV to a preset channel or input at a preset time.
To activate the On Timer:

From the APPLICATION S menu, highlight On
Timer and press .

to select Enable On Timer , and then
press

to select On .
Note: If the Enable On Timer is set to Off , other menus
under On Timer cannot be changed.
To set the On Timer:

From the APPLICATION S menu, highlight On
Timer and press .

to highlight the item you want to
change, and then press

to make your desired adjustment.

Highlight Done , and then press .
Note:
• When the
On Timer
is set to

, the On Timer LED is
turned on (

“LED indications” on page 79).
• If you do not operate the TV for 1 hour after it is powered
on by the On Timer feature, the TV will automatically turn
itself off.
To cancel the On Timer:

From the APPLICATION S menu, highlight On
Timer
and press .

Setting the Sleep Timer
You can set the sleep timer to turn off the TV after a set
length of time (maximum of 12 hours).
To set the sleep timer using the remote control:

to set the length of time until the TV turns off.
Repeatedly press
[
to increase the time in 10-minute
increments, or press
B
or
b
to increase or decrease the
time in 10-minute increments, to a maximum of 12
hours.
To set the sleep timer using the on-screen menus:

From the APPLICATION S menu, highlight S leep
Timer
.

Press the number buttons to enter the length of time

or the number buttons to increase or
decrease in 10-minute increments (maximum of 12
hours).
Note: When a power failure occurs, the sleep timer setting
may be cleared.
To display the remaining sleep time:

To cancel the sleep timer:

until it is set to 0
minutes.
