Chapter 5: Setting up your TV
Initial Setup
When you first turn on or reset the TV, the Initial Setup
window will appear.

In the Menu Lan g ua g e field, press

your preferred language and press .

Next, the Local Time S ettin g window will appear.

to select Time Zone , set your desired
time zone with

setting window will appear.
For normal home use, press

Next, the ANT/CABLE In setup window will

to highlight Cable or
Antenna , and press to select the input.
Note: If you do not want to scan channels, you do not
need to make a selection for ANT/CABLE . Highlight
Next and press to skip this step.

, and then highlight
Next
and
press , channel scan will start. If you select
Antenna , and then highlight Next and press , the
Channel Tunin g Mo d e setup window will appear.
To tune only digital channels, select Di g ital . To
tune digital channels preferentially over analog
when entering channel number directly, select
Auto . For normal tuning, select S tan d ar d . Press
.

Press to start S tart S can .
Note: If you want to stop scanning, press while
scanning.
You can stop the Initial Setup with . However if you
do not finish the entire Initial Setup process, the Initial
Setup window will appear every time you turn on the
TV.
Note: does not work until the settings of Menu
Language / Time Zone / Location finish.
Quick Setup from the SETUP menu
You can conveniently change various basic TV settings
from the Quick Setup item located under the SETUP
menu.

Selecting the menu language
