External equipment connection
Connecting an audio amplifier
You can connect an audio amplifier with a built-in digital surround sound decoder (Dolby Digital / DTS
/ MPEG) to the TV as shown.
Note:
DTS decoders that do not support the DVD-DTS interface may not work properly with this TV.
Connecting a headphone
Connect the headphone to the TV as shown.
Notes:
• When an amplifier or a headphone is connected to the TV, the built-in speakers will be disabled.
• When using an amplifier or a headphone, make sure the volume on both the TV and external audio
output device is set to a reasonable listening level.
• 19 and 32-inch models have indicators printed on other sides of buttons or jacks, different from the
illustrated 22 and 26-inch models.
Connecting a USB device
Connect the USB device to the TV as shown.

28.
