ADD/REDUCE CABLE TENSION
NOTICE: PRIOR TO ADJUSTING CABLE
TENSION, ADJUST DOORS ALL THE WAY
OUT.
Adjust the tension of the cables by loosening the
JAM NUTS on the THREADED STUDS of the
CABLES. Adjust the THREADED STUDS in or
out to make the CABLE tighter or looser at any
or all of the adjustment points as shown.
CARRIAGE ADJUSTMENT
The LEFT and RIGHT CARRIAGES (6 & 7) have
been calibrated at the factory to fit over the
CARRIAGE UPRIGHTS (5). Should the need
arise to adjust the CARRIAGES, please follow
these steps:
- Slightly loosen (do not remove) the single rear
3/8" BOLT as shown in inset.
- Push firmly in on the front of the CARRIAGE
forcing the two FRONT WHEELS into the UP-
RIGHT (5).
- Adjust the loosened REAR WHEEL DOWN and
up against the UPRIGHT (5) by pulling down on
the wrenches before tightening.
- SECURELY re-tighten the single rear 3/8”
BOLT from the previous step.
NOTICE: TIGHTEN ALL JAM NUT CONNEC-
TIONS WHEN FINISHED ADJUSTING.
