Cleaning
Power 48-5000
CAUTION!
Damage to battery through improper cleaning!
Improper cleaning can lead to battery damage.
■
Clean the ventilation opening carefully.
■
Never clean the battery using a high-pressure cleaner.
To clean the Power 48-5000, you can use any commercially available cleaning agent
suitable for plastic. Use contact oil to maintain the terminal and screw connections.
Chargers
ADVICE
Protect the pressure equalisation valve from contamination.
To clean the chargers, you can use any commercially available cleaning agent
suitable for plastic.
Storage
CAUTION!
Damage to 48 V battery by deep discharging.
Storing the battery with a state of charge below 20 % can result in deep
discharging.
■
Make sure the state of charge always remains between 20 % and 40 %.
■
Check every three months that the voltage is above 43 V.
■
Switch off the Power 48-5000 using the On/Off switch or key switch.
■
Disconnect the data cable from every battery.
■
The ideal storage temperature is between 5 °C and 20 °C.
■
Keep the Power 48-5000 clean.
