The Torqeedo chargers automatically signal to the Power 48-5000 when they are
ready to charge. This switches the batteries on. The system does not need to be
switched on manually.
1. Switch off the Torqeedo motor.
2. Connect the mains plug of the charger’s to a socket.

Charging damaged batteries can lead to fire.

Never charge damaged batteries.
Without Torqeedo drive system or Torqeedo Gateway

Switch on using the On/Off switch (separate item, accessory).
1. Switch the battery on using the button.
2. Then switch on the mechanical switch for the non-Torqeedo loads.
ADVICE
The charging process takes approx. 20 seconds to start.
Never repeatedly switch on and off in rapid succession.
