With Torqeedo drive system or with Torqeedo Gateway
1. Switch the system off using the button, the key switch, or the button on the
display.
2. Also switch off the mechanical rotary switch.
3. The Torqeedo chargers automatically signal to the Power 48-5000 when they are
ready to charge. This switches the batteries on. The system does not need to be
switched on manually.
ADVICE
The charging process takes approx. 20 seconds to start.
Never repeatedly switch on and off in rapid succession.
4. It is not possible to operate the Torqeedo motor after starting, or during the
charging process.
8.3 Disconnecting the chargers from the
Power 48-5000
Without Torqeedo drive system or Torqeedo Gateway
1. Disconnect the chargers from the power supply.
2. Wait approx. 30 seconds, before you switch on the Torqeedo motor via the
mechanical main switch and via the key, the button, or the button on the display.
With Torqeedo drive system or with Torqeedo Gateway
1. Disconnect the chargers from the power supply.
8.4 Adjusting the power for the 2212-00 charger
This function is available only in combination with CAN throttles 1949-00 to
1952-00.
1. Switch the system on.
2. Use the “Scroll down” button to scroll to “Settings” and confirm this using the
“Select” button at top right.
3. Use the “Scroll down”button to scroll to "Current" and modify the value for the
input power using the “Select” button.
4. Save using the “Back” button at the bottom right.
5. Switch off the system and then connect the charger to the mains supply.
