11 Maintenance
11.1 Maintenance by user
Spray the contacts using a suitable contact spray preferably after every use, but
at least every 6 months. The contacts of the bus system must also be treated with
suitable contact spray once per year. Protect unused terminals using protection caps
(included in scope of delivery).
11.2 Maintenance by Torqeedo Service
Every 8 years – regardless of usage – the leak-tightness of the Power 48-5000, the
status of the cells, the safety of the system, and the content of the error memory
must be checked by Torqeedo Service.
