Procedures
Raising the Sprayer
Whenever the engine is run for routine maintenance
and/or engine diagnostics, the rear wheels of the
sprayer should be 2.5 cm (1 inch) off the ground with
the rear axle supported on jack stands.
DANGER
A sprayer on a jack may be unstable and slip
off the jack, injuring anyone beneath it.
•
Do not start the engine while the sprayer
is on a jack.
•
Always remove the key from the ignition
before getting off the sprayer.
•
Block the tires when the sprayer is on a
jack.
The jacking point at the front of the sprayer is under
the front crossbar (
A). The jacking point at
the rear of the sprayer is on the rear frame support,
behind the rear tie-down loops (
B).

Lubrication
Greasing the Machine
Service Interval:
Every 100 hours/Yearly (whichever
comes first)—Lubricate all grease
fittings.
Grease Type:
No. 2 lithium grease

for the grease-point locations.

Wipe the grease fitting clean so that you do not
force dirt or debris into the bearing or bushing.
2.
Pump grease into the bearing or bushing.
3.
Wipe off the excess grease.
Greasing the Sprayer Pump
Service Interval:
Every 50 hours—Lubricate the
pump.
Grease Type:
Mobil XHP 461
1.
Raise the sprayer; refer to
(page 40)
.
2.
Locate the sprayer pump.
Note:
The pump is located below the seat; refer
to
Locating the Spray Pump (page 33)
.
3.
Wipe the 2 remote grease fittings clean (
A and
B).
