Operation
NOTE : The sprayer pump is hydraulically
driven, and needs to be configured
correctly to match the type of hydraulic
system on the tractor (closed center, open
center, load sensing, etc.). Failure to
configure the pump correctly may
permanently damage the pump through
over-speeding. Refer to the
MAINTENANCE SECTION of this
manual for guidelines on configuring the
sprayer pump.
Connect hoses from the sprayer pump to
a tractor selective control valve (SCV)
circuit. The pump inlet (marked PUMP
PRESSURE) should be connected to
the RETRACT port and the pump outlet
(marked PUMP RETURN) to a low
pressure return port at the tractor
(recommended) or to the EXTEND port.

Transport Chain Connection
(Drawbar Style Hitch Only)
Tractor must be equipped with a
transport chain support. Attach chain in
manner illustrated. Adjust the chain
length as necessary to eliminate
excessive slack, while preventing
binding during tight turns.
CAUTION: Always use a properly-
sized transport chain between sprayer
and tractor. Failure to use transport chain
could result in personal injury or property
damage if implement and tractor become
disengaged during operation.
