CONTROLS
INSTALLATION
Apply marine grease to the link rod insertion part and
throttle arm insertion part of the shift link bracket [1].
Install the tube clamp [2] to the shift link bracket.
Install the shift link bracket by aligning the groove [3] of
the shift link bracket with the link rod [4], and then install
and tighten the three bolt/washers (6 x 12 mm) [5].
Install the fuel tube A [6] to the tube clamp.
Install the washer (small) [1], washer (large) [2], and E-
ring [3] to the link rod [4].
Apply marine grease to the throttle arm [1] bearing part.
Install the link pin [2], washer [3], and E-ring [4] to the
throttle arm.
Install the throttle arm [1] and tighten the bolt (6 x 12
mm) [2] and washer [3].
Connect the throttle cables [4] to the throttle arm and
install them to the shift link bracket.
Install the following:
– R. engine under cover (page 6-3).
– Shift control cable (page 20-3)
– Throttle control cable (page 20-6)
Inspect and adjust the following:
– Throttle operation (page 3-11)
– Shift operation (page 20-3)
