ENGINE COVER/COVER LOCK

FRONT SEPARATE COVER REMOVAL/

INSTALLATION

Remove the engine cover.
Remove the two bolt/washers (6 x 25 mm) [1], special

bolt (6 x 17 mm) [2], two special bolts (6 x 37 mm) [3],

and remove the front separate cover [4].
Install the front separate cover by sliding the tab [5] into

the engine under cover.

Make sure that under case grommet A [6] is positioned

in the grooves of the engine under cover and front

separate cover.
Loosely tighten the bolt/washer (6 x 25 mm) on the front

side.
Loosely tighten the special bolt (6 x 17 mm) until the

shoulder of the bolt is in the hole of the engine under

cover.
Install and tighten the two special bolts (6 x 37 mm) and

bolt/washer (6 x 25 mm) in the numbered order.
• Keep the remote control cable level.
Tighten the bolt (6 x 25 mm) on the front side and the

special bolt (6 x 17 mm).
Install the engine cover.

Remove the front separate cover (page 6-3).
Disconnect the flush plug cap [1] from the R. engine

under cover.

Disconnect the power tilt switch 3P connector [1], and

release the wire from the harness clips [2].
