TRIM/TILT
Apply marine grease to the swivel case bushings [1]
inner and outer surfaces, wave washer (26 mm) [2],
tilting shaft [3] bearing part and threads and swivel case
[4] tilting shaft sliding part.
Install the two swivel case bushings, two wave washers
(26 mm), and tilting shaft to the swivel case.
Apply marine grease to the lower cylinder collar [5],
outer surface and lower cylinder bushing [6] inner and
outer surfaces.
Install the lower cylinder collar and two lower cylinder
bushings to the power trim/tilt lower cylinder [7].
Install the L. stern bracket [8], R. stern bracket [9], bolt
(10 x 235 mm) [10], washer (10 mm) [11], and self-
locking nut (10 mm) [12].
Tighten the self-locking nut.
Install the washer (25 mm) [13], self-locking nut (25 x
2.0 mm) [14], washer (7/8 in) [15], and self-locking nut
(7/8 in-14 UNF) [16].
Tighten the self-locking nuts to the specified torque.
After installing the power trim/tilt, check the trim angle
sensor wire [1] and power tilt motor wire [2], to make
sure they are not slack and twisted.
TORQUE: 34 N·m (3.5 kgf·m, 25 lbf·ft)
