Proper Use
The VD82EX serves exclusively to provide total pressure measurements in the
range 1050 - 1 mbar. It may only be connected to components specifically
provided for such purpose.
The vacuummeter is suitable for use in explosive areas according to the
following mark
II 2G Ex ia IIC T4.
The vacuummeter and sensor head must not be operated in
explosive areas at absolute pressure above 1100 mbar !
The VD82EX must be used properly in explosive areas, i.e. you
must not leave the gauge unattended!
To avoid electrostatic charge of the sensor flange be sure to
have it properly grounded!
The plug connection between sensor head and display unit has
to be locked by screw. The sensor head must not be connected
or disconnected inside the explosive area!
Improper Use
The use for purposes not covered above is regarded as improper, in particular:
- the connection to components not allowed for in their operating instructions
-
the connection to components containing touchable, voltage carrying parts.
No liability or warranty will be accepted for claims arising from improper use.
The user bears the responsibility with respect to the used process media.
