Precautions
Verify the product’s integrity before every use.
Do not use the device if it is damaged.
Choose the appropriate size to fit the patient, referring to the size chart.
It is recommended that a healthcare professional supervises the first application.
Strictly comply with your healthcare professional’s prescription and
recommendations for use.
In the event of discomfort, significant hindrance, pain, variation in limb volume,
abnormal sensations or change in colour of the extremities, remove the device and
consult a healthcare professional.
For hygiene and performance reasons, do not re-use the product for another patient.
Do not use the device in case of application of certain products on the skin (creams,
ointments, oils, gels, patches…).
If the support is worn for prolonged periods of time, ensure that blood circulation
is not impeded.
Undesirable side-effect
This device can cause skin reactions (redness, itching, burns, blisters…) or wounds
of various degrees of severity.
Possible risk of venous thrombosis.
Any serious incidents occurring related to the device should be reported to the
manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State in which the
user and/or patient is resident.
Instructions for use/Application
Two pairs of heelpieces are supplied with the ankle brace.
Make sure you use the same number of heelpieces (1 or 2) on both sides, following
the advice of the physician who prescribed the device.
Slip the ankle brace over the foot, positioning the insert over the Achilles tendon.
If necessary, superimpose the two heelpieces, placing heelpiece

(the slimmest
one) on top of heelpiece

(the highest one).
Insert the base heelpiece (
Ⓐ
) or the two heelpieces (
Ⓐ
and
Ⓑ
) into the shoe of
the foot wearing the ankle brace. Repeat the same operation for the other shoe.
Care/Maintenance
Product can be washed in accordance with the conditions shown on this notice
and on the label.
Machine washable at 30°C (delicate programme). Do not use detergents, fabric
softeners or aggressive products (products containing chlorine, etc.). Do not dry clean.
Do not tumble-dry. Do not iron. Squeeze out excess water. Dry flat. Dry away from
any direct heat source (radiator, sun, etc.).
Storage
Store at room temperature, preferably in the original packaging.
Disposal
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.

Beschreibung / Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Produkt handelt es sich um eine elastische propriozeptive
Knöchelbandage, die dem Gelenk Halt gibt.
Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für die Behandlung der aufgeführten Indikationen
und für Patienten vorgesehen, deren Körpermaße der Größentabelle entsprechen.
Zusammensetzung
Polyamid - Elasthan - Polyester - Polyurethan - Silikon - Ethylen-Vinylacetat -
Enthält natürliches Latex.
Mode d’emploi/Mise en place
Deux paires de talonnettes sont fournies avec la chevillère.
Veiller à placer le même nombre de talonnettes (1 ou 2) des deux côtés, en suivant
les conseils du médecin qui a prescrit le dispositif.
Enfiler la chevillère sur le pied en positionnant l’insert sur le tendon d’Achille.
Superposer si nécessaire les deux talonnettes en plaçant la talonnette

Insérer la talonnette de base (

) dans la
chaussure du pied portant la chevillère. Effectuer la même opération pour l’autre
chaussure.
Entretien
Produit lavable selon les conditions présentes sur cette notice et l’étiquetage.
Lavable en machine à 30°C (cycle délicat). Ne pas utiliser de détergents,
adoucissants ou de produits agressifs (produits chlorés…). Ne pas nettoyer à sec.
Ne pas utiliser de sèche-linge. Ne pas repasser. Essorer par pression. Sécher à plat.
Sécher loin d’une source directe de chaleur (radiateur, soleil…).
Stockage
Stocker à température ambiante, de préférence dans l'emballage d’origine.
Élimination
Éliminer conformément à la réglementation locale en vigueur.

Description/Destination
This device is a proprioceptive elastic ankle brace providing joint support.
The device is intended only for the treatment of the indications listed and for
patients whose measurements correspond to the sizing table.
Composition
Polyamide - Elastane - Polyester - Polyurethane - Silicone - Ethylene-vinyl acetate
- Presence of natural latex.
Properties/Mode of action
Elastic compressive knitting (class 3 - 20-36 mmHg / 27.1-48 hPa).
Insert at the Achilles tendon to protect the tendon and absorb shocks.
2 stackable pairs of heelpieces:
•
to offload the Achilles tendon,
• to balance the other leg,
•
to allow 3 different offloading heights depending on the pathology.
Tabs to make it easier to pull on.
Indications
Conservative treatment of Achilles tendon rupture.
Post-operative pain and edema of the Achilles tendon.
Prevention and treatment of Achilles tendon injuries: tendonitis, tenosynovitis,
bursitis, achillodynia and Haglund’s disease.
Prevention of sports injuries of the Achilles tendon.
Contraindications
Do not use the product if the diagnosis has not been confirmed.
Do not apply the product in direct contact with broken skin or an open wound
without an adequate dressing.
Do not use in the event of known allergy to any of the components.
History of venous or lymphatic disorders.
