MAIN SWITCH:
This is a combination power switch and circuit breaker, when turned on this switch allows power to
be supplied to the controls. The circulating fan motor runs as soon as the power is turned on as
long as the door is closed (the door is interlocked with a door switch to turn the fan off when the
door is open).
CAUTION: The equipment is fitted with a combination circuit breaker, mains switch. If
the circuit breaker continues to trip, it may indicate an electrical fault exists. Switch
Off the power and consult a qualified technician.
Temperature/Humidity Control: The two controls are Eurotherm 3216 microprocessor
instruments with digital indication of the set value and operating value.
Temperature control:
This is a Eurotherm 3216 microprocessor based instrument, with digital indication of set
temperature and operating temperature to 0.1ºC. Control parameters are configured to provide
stable temperature control with minimum overshoot and quick recovery times.
Maximum recommended temperature is 80ºC
Humidity control:
This is a Eurotherm 3216 microprocessor based instrument, with digital indication of set humidity
and operating humidity to 1%RH. Control parameters are configured to provide stable humidity
control with minimum overshoot and quick recovery times.
Maximum recommended humidity is 90%RH (to 95% with vents closed)
Over-Temp Light:
This light should only be illuminated when a high temperature condition occurs.
ie. If the operating temperature is more than 2ºC higher than the set temperature.
Humidity Switch: This switch turns the humidity function on or off. When the switch is turned off
the humidity display also goes off and the cabinet functions as a temperature only cabinet.
OTHER CONTROLS:
Water Pressure Regulator: Located behind the hinged access panel in the base of the cabinet.
Air Heating Element Safety:
(Non Operator Adjustable): This thermostat is factory set to turn off
the air heating element if the circulating fan stops.
Humidity Heating Element Safety: (Non Operator Adjustable). This thermostat is factory set to
protect the humidity trough element from over heating due to lack of water.
