8) CHANGING THE SET VALUE (SP)
OVER TEMPERATURE INDICATION
All Eurotherm 3216 controllers are fitted with an automatic over temperature alarm. In the event of
a malfunction of the Thermoline product, the alarm will switch off all forms of heating if the actual
temperature exceeds the set temperature by 2.0°C. This will be indicated by a red flashing
indicator and a scrolling message of ‘Over Temperature’ on the bottom display of the controller.

Use the up and down arrows
to change the Set Value(SP)
in the lower display. When
the desired SP is reached
