Machine Operation

User Manual - Haas Mini Mill

AA83766

Power Supply of the AMP

The main power switch on the Haas electrical rack must be on.

The power cables of the AMP are plugged on the PM after the relays of the powering up As soon as the

POWER ON

button is pressed on the Haas panel, the AMP is powered up.

At start up of the AMP, the electronic runs several checks and the PLC and the screen starts up.

If the mobile panel screen of the AMP does not switch on:

Check the main power supply of the PM (3x400V).

♦

Check the main circuit breaker 2Q1.

♦

Check the circuit breaker of the 24 VDC supply, 3Q3.

Press the buttons #4 (

) and #6 (

)

) on the Simatic mobile panel (see figure 2.1) to reset all the error on

the top of the screen. At the start up, the language is set in French. To change the language, press

SYSTEME

and the select the desired flag.

In the example below, the English language has been selected.

Emergency Stop Button

By pressing the ES on the Simatec mobile panel (#3 on figure 2.1) or on the Haas control panel (#5 on figure

2.2), you immediately switch off the power of the machine. To switch it back on, first release all the pressed

ES.

Press the

RESET

button on the Haas control panel (#9 on figure 2.1) as long as you have warnings or errors,

then press on

POWER UP – RESTART

(#10 on figure 2.2) to initialise all axes.
