2.04 General
The The r mal A r c Fab r icato r 140 / 180 Machines a r e both
single-phase input welding machine and come equipped
with the following:
1. Built-in Wi r e Feede r and Wi r e Spool Hub
2. Quick Connect Welding Gun and Cable (10 Foot
Length)
3. Wo r k Cable and Clamp
4. Regulato r /Flow Mete r
5. Input Co r d
6. Spa r e Pa r ts Kit (4 contact tips)
7. Ope r ational Manual
8. 0.5 lb Spool of Wi r e
The welding system is designed fo r use with the following
p r ocesses:
1. GMAW – Gas metal a r c welding (MIG). Requi r es
the use of a shielding gas and r egulato r .
2. FCAW – Flux-co r ed a r c welding – Does not r equi r e
the use of a shielding gas.
As delive r ed f r om the facto r y, the Fab r icato r 140 is set
up fo r .024" (0.6mm) diamete r solid wi r e and the
Fab r icato r 180 is set up fo r .030” (0.8mm) diamete r solid
wi r e.
The feed r oll can be r eve r sed in eithe r machine which will
set up the Fab r icato r 140 fo r .030” (0.8mm) diamete r
solid wi r e and the Fab r icato r 180 fo r .024" (0.6mm)
diamete r solid wi r e.
Optional feed r olls, contact tips and gun line r s a r e available
to conve r t the gun and feed system to use the following
wi r es.
1. .023” - .035" (0.6mm – 0.9mm) Solid Wi r e (Mild
Steel and Stainless Steel)
2. .030" - .035” (0.8mm – 0.9mm) Self-Shielding Wi r e
3. .030" (0.8mm) Aluminum Wi r e
