Installation Manual

vides instructions on how to install, configure, power up, and boot the Themis Rug-
ged Enterprise Server RES-12XR3-S for X8DAL-3/i (see

Figure 1

). Based on two

64-bit Quad-Core 5500-Series or Quad/Six-Core 5600-Series Xeon

CPUs with a

QPI (QuickPath Interconnect) up to 6.4 GT/s each, the RES-12XR3-S for X8DAL-
3/i supports up to 48-GB 1333/1066/800-MHz DDR3 ECC-Registered memory
modules.
The RES-12XR3-S for X8DAL-3/i supports the SuperMicro

X8DAL-3/i

mother-
