Room correction factor / brightness measurement value
The room correction factor is a measurement for the difference between brightness measure-
ments on the ceiling and the work area. The brightness value on the ceiling is influenced by the
installation location, the incidence of light, the position of the sun, the weather conditions, as
well as the reflection properties of the room and the furniture.
With the room correction factor, the measured brightness value is adjusted to the conditions in
the room and in this way can be matched to the lux meter value (
1
) measured at the surface
beneath the PlanoSpot 360 DALI-2 S.
