The Filters.

The following functions can only be selected at a
higher user level

mation on this and how to set a different level.
Even with the database interface it is possible to lose track of a large number of titles. For this
reason you can use different database information to restrict what is viewed and to concen-
trate on specific aspects.
The browser window shows you whether a filter is currently active. There is of course no filter-
ing active in the factory setting.
You can control the following items in a filter:

Your personal evaluation (ranking)
·
A style (genre)
·
A mood
·
The release year
·
The date of recording or import (entry date)
·
The artist
·
The tempo (BPM)
·
The recording quality
A filter always acts on the contents of the hard disk, never on the removable media. You can
enable the filter by selecting
Filter
in the main menu.
The various criteria can be accessed by the tabs. The first filter view shows the dialog for set-
ting the ranking range.
If you only want to see the absolute top titles with this filter, set the ranking range to “from
