Careful with fast fingers: Play always wins. To ensure the required speed of reaction, particu-
larly in critical situations where the party mood could be spoilt, pressing the PLAY button ( )
starts the selected title playing immediately but it can also completely delete the DJ stack.
So here is the sequence:
1. Select the titles to be played one by one, press
ESC
and then
PLAY
.
2. To attach new titles,
search
with the wheel and
select
.
3.
ONLY
to play one title directly, select and
PLAY
—but then the DJ stack is gone.
An explanation of the DJ Mode. Now you only need to know how to activate the DJ Mode, i.e.:
Open the main menu with the MENU button and select Settings and then DJ Mode. The follow-
ing submenu allows to enable and disable it.
The Timer.

The following functions can only be selected at a

The Timer function allows you to start playback automatically at a specified time. In contrast
to many other devices, the C.A.R. 4000 is completely cut off from the power supply when it is
switched off, i.e. it is really switched off. The integrated Timer is powered by a battery and
switches the device on and off as required. This means that a power failure will not affect your
settings.
To open the Timer Settings select
Settings
in the main menu, then
C.A.R.
and here select
Timer
. You will initially find a relatively empty window, which only shows information on the
current day of the week, the date and the time. Here the soft key has the function
ADD
.
Press the
ADD
soft key to open the option menu. As you know from previous menus, you can
use the up and down button to select the option you want to edit.
For
Day
you can rotate the wheel to select a
Date
, a
Weekday
, the
Weekend
,
Workday
or
Daily
.
What alarm clock can do all this? The start and stop time are below. Now press the
DELETE
soft key to remove the timer.
